Set Course

The Bible presents the vital concern of setting the course of your soul. The “way to death” (Prov 14:12) is corrected by “the way” of Jesus (John 14:6). It matters which way you’re headed.
Adjusting your course (repentance) is key to salvation. We all need the “repentance that leads to life” (Acts 11:18). We all need to “turn from darkness to light” (Acts 16:18). Without this course adjustment, the destination remains death; it remains darkness. Without repentance, the path that continues to head toward darkness will not receive forgiveness.
We know that “man is justified by faith apart from works” (Romans 3:28). We also know faith without works is not faith (James 2:17). Faith is not just affection toward the Creator; it’s taking action—and that action becomes visible with repentance.
Salvation is not about a good intention. It’s about a good direction.
